IncludEd United has developed evidence-based professional learning courses for educators in schools that are grounded in research and best practices for inclusion. Once a year IncludEd United hosts educators for the IncludEd in Schools Conference.
IncludEd in Schools Conference
November 2, 2024
This conference is designed to bring together educators from all over Utah and provide a platform to discuss, learn, and share experiences related to inclusion for underrepresented identities in schools. The event will be held at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 2, 2024.
The conference will feature a range of keynote speakers and panelists with extensive expertise in educational equity. These speakers will share their insights and knowledge on best practices for inclusion, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Additionally, there will be a series of breakout sessions that will allow educators to learn about specific topics related to inclusion, such as curriculum development, creating safe spaces, and engaging with families and communities.
Throughout the conference, you will have the chance to network with other educators, share experiences and ideas, and build a community of support. The conference will provide an opportunity for educators to learn from each other, share successes and challenges, and develop a collective understanding of how to create a more inclusive environment for ALL students.
We believe that inclusion is vital to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. We hope you will join us and participate in this important conversation. Inclusive Solutions: A workshop exploring data and finding exclusive solutions within a community of practice
This professional learning workshop delves into the principles and practices of leveraging data to identify and implement inclusive solutions within a community framework. Participants will embark on a journey that combines theoretical insights with practical applications. Through engaging discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities, participants will learn to analyze data effectively to uncover barriers and opportunities for positive growth.
