IncludEd United has developed evidence-based professional learning courses for educators in schools that are grounded in research and best practices for inclusion. Once a year IncludEd United hosts educators for the IncludEd in Schools Conference for LGBTQIA+ inclusion for educators.
IncludEd in Schools Conference

This conference is designed to bring together educators from all over Utah and provide a platform to discuss, learn, and share experiences related to LGBTQIA+ inclusion. The event will be held at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The conference will feature a range of keynote speakers and panelists with extensive expertise in LGBTQIA+ education. These speakers will share their insights and knowledge on best practices for inclusion, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Additionally, there will be a series of breakout sessions that will allow educators to learn about specific topics related to LGBTQIA+ inclusion, such as curriculum development, creating safe spaces, and engaging with families and communities.
Throughout the conference, you will have the chance to network with other educators, share experiences and ideas, and build a community of support. The conference will provide an opportunity for educators to learn from each other, share successes and challenges, and develop a collective understanding of how to create a more inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ students.
We believe that inclusion is vital to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. We hope you will join us and participate in this important conversation. LGBTQIA+ Inclusion in Schools
The LGBTQIA+ professional learning for educators in schools is designed to provide educators with the knowledge and skills they need to create an environment for LGBTQIA+ students. The course will cover topics such as understanding the LGBTQIA+ community, creating an inclusive classroom environment, and supporting LGBTQIA+ students and their families.
Participants will learn about the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ students and how to create a supportive environment that fosters their academic growth.
The course will also provide resources for educators to use in their classrooms and schools, including books, websites, and other materials that build inclusion. By the end of the training, educators will have the knowledge and tools they need to create an inclusive environment for all LGBTQIA+ students.
