Workplace Professional Development

IncludEd United has multiple tiers of professional development for your company. From inclusion training to workplace climate surveys and reviews, IncludEd United can customize your company's needs.

 LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Training

The LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Training for workplaces is designed to help employers and employees create a welcoming and inclusive work environment for individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

This training will cover topics such as understanding the LGBTQIA+ community, using inclusive language, creating a safe and welcoming workplace culture, and supporting LGBTQIA+ employees and clients. Participants will learn about the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in the workplace, and how to create a supportive environment that fosters their professional growth.

The training will also provide resources and strategies for employers to use in their workplaces, including policies and procedures that build inclusion. By the end of the training, participants will have the knowledge and tools they need to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all employees. This training will ultimately benefit the organization by promoting employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity, as well as creating a positive reputation in the community.

Enhancing Accessibility Training

Enhancing Accessibility in the workplace is a comprehensive program designed to educate employees and employers on how to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for individuals with disabilities. The training covers a range of topics including disability awareness, communication, accommodation, and accessibility.

The training includes an overview on different types of disabilities and how they can influence the workplace experience as well as appropriate language and behavior when interacting with individuals with disabilities.

The training also covers parts of the legal requirements for workplace accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Participants learn about the process of requesting accommodations, as well as the responsibilities of employers in providing reasonable accommodations.
Participants also learn about effective communication strategies with individuals with disabilities, including using clear language, avoiding assumptions, and respecting personal space.

IncludEd Climate Survey & Policy Review for Workplaces

IncludEd Climate Survey (ICS) is a survey that collects information about your employees' perceptions of their work environment, including their feelings about the company's culture and inclusion, leadership, communication, and policies. The goal of an ICS is to identify areas of strength and weakness in your workplace culture and to gather feedback from employees that can be used to improve the overall work environment.
